We are looking for a Camera Systems Engineer to join our team and design/manage our professional multi-camera VR180 rigs. You’ll be a key part of the Be There Engineering team and will have an opportunity to handle everything from lens calibration to real-time signal monitoring for 16K+ capture. You’ll be given an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Be There as the platform grows.

What you’ll do

  • Architect & assemble VR180 camera systems for sport arena deployment.

  • Calibrate optics (back‑focus, alignment, distortion) using industry‑standard charts and custom software.

  • Develop and maintain genlock, time‑code and sync workflows across multi‑sensor rigs.

  • Implement real‑time monitoring & QC dashboards for exposure, colour and stereo disparity at >16 K resolution.

  • Optimise signal paths (SDI/12G, fibre, IP) to minimise latency from lens to encoder.

  • Lead on‑site setup & troubleshooting during live games, including baseline tests and emergency swaps.

  • Document best practices and train freelancers/partners on rig operation.
