We are looking for a visionOS Engineer to join our team and aid in the development of our platform for the Apple Vision Pro. You’ll be a key part of the Be There Engineering team and will have an opportunity to build cutting edge immersive experiences using Apple’s visionOS SDK. You’ll work directly with MV-HEVC, AV Foundation and Metal to power our 180° playback. You’ll be given an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Be There as the platform grows.

What you’ll do

  • Architect & implement visionOS features in Swift / SwiftUI, RealityKit and Metal.

  • Integrate MV‑HEVC streams with AVFoundation for live, low‑latency playback.

  • Optimise GPU & CPU performance through profiling, shader tuning and smart caching strategies.

  • Prototype new viewing modes, on‑screen graphics & social features in collaboration with product and design.

  • Develop internal frameworks, tools & CI pipelines that keep us shipping fast and safely.

  • Maintain high engineering standards through peer reviews, unit/UI tests and documentation.

  • Stay on top of the latest visionOS & spatial computing APIs, sharing knowledge with the wider team.
